After decades of transportation experience, we have designed and patented a pickup truck toolbox that doesn't use the trucks valuable bed space. Every day you will see commercial pickups with standard cross-over toolboxes, fuel tanks and various other equipment occupying a percentage of the vehicle’s cargo space. The Tool Rig Toolbox addresses those issues and more.
- The toolbox does not use any of the trucks interior cargo area allowing for more cargo with the tailgate safely closed without jeopardizing the drivers view of the rear-view mirror. All gear within the toolbox is retrieved from the sides instead of employees having to climb into the bed area of the vehicle reducing costly slips and falls. The toolbox also protects the cab/driver from cargo being slammed into them from sudden emergency braking.
- Each Tool Rig box is custom assembled with meticulous detail. Each box is fabricated from 1/8" 5052 aluminum riveted together. Riveting the box together enables any part of the box to be replaceable. The doors are bolted on from the inside and replaceable.
- The toolbox is compatible with many aftermarket components including ladder racks, light bars, fuel tanks, CNG tanks, tonneau covers and more.
- The toolbox includes many optional features including options for powder coating, tie downs, rubber bumpers, side and top fairings. The toolbox comes standard equipped with sliding and removable shelves. The upper shelves form a long item shelf that will hold shovels, rakes, jacks, fishing poles, 4' Levels ext. up to 52". The upper shelves slide away making room for larger items in the main cargo area and are completely removable. The middle shelves may be placed on the upper shelves or completely removed as well.
- The side access doors are equipped with heavy duty marine hatch springs. When the doors are open the hatch springs ensure the doors do not move in either direction until released. The toolbox is also well suited for dirt bike riders, mechanics or anyone who would like to have more bed space.

Dirt Bikers
These toolboxes are perfect for dirt bikes and motorcycles. Store all your safety gear in one side and all your oil, lubes and parts in the other side. Some motorcycles front wheel will fit in the toolboxes tunnel depending on how high the front fender is. Many dirt bikes with tall suspension will not fit without compressing the front suspension with tie downs first. The box can be installed atop a full-size sliding tonneau cover. Take your bike out and put your gas can, ramp and gear back in the truck bed and close the tonneau cover and everything is secure.
