1. What is the weight of the toolbox?
A: Our truck toolbox weighs approximately 115 LBS and has 12 CUFT of storage space.
2. Will the toolbox fit my truck?
A: The Tool Rig truck toolbox is designed for one size fits most all full-size pick-ups. The Toolbox is 70 inches wide & 20 3/4 Tall. If you measure across your bed rails and 70 inches lands on the rails then the toolbox will fit. As you can see from the photos on the home page we have installed many toolboxes on Fords, Chevy's, Rams and Toyota's and have not seen any that have not fit. 3. What is our return policy?
A: It is vital that you make sure the truck tool box will fit prior to placing an order. There is a 20% restocking fee for all returned merchandise. As long as the product is received within 21 days of the shipping date in as NEW condition in the original packaging a refund will be issued minus the standard 20% restocking fee. If there is any damage to the product or the packaging additional percentages will be applied to the 20%. The purchaser is responsible for the return shipping costs back to Aurora, CO.
4. What is the warranty?
A: The Tool Rig truck toolbox comes with a Standard Commercial 3-Year Limited Warranty against any defects or workmanship for the original purchaser. There is no warranty for paint, powder coating, labor or normal wear and tear. You must present the original invoice and a copy of your ID to obtain any warranty. Our goal is to keep our customers happy. We are confident that our engineering and manufacturing of the Tool Rig toolbox is 2nd to none. With proper installation, maintenance and care the toolbox will last a life time.
5. Installation?
A: Installation is simple and straight forward. The recommended installation procedures are to bolt the truck toolbox down through your bed rails using bolts and Nylock nuts. An alternative installation is to use standard no drill bolt clamps that we supply. Please follow the installation instructions in the owners manual.
6. Does the toolbox lock? Yes. Can I order replacement keys?
A: YES, as long as we have them in stock. We will need your original invoice to locate the key code for your truck toolbox. We recommend that you document your key code in your owners manual when you receive the toolbox.
7. What are my color choices?
A: The standard Tool Rig truck toolbox color is satin black light texture. We have found that satin black matches pretty much everything. We do offer custom colors for an additional color change fee and a minimum of 12 boxes.
Custom color tool boxes are non-returnable and come with a color change fee.
8. Shipping
We are currently shipping to the contiguous United States Mainland from Denver, CO to a business address. We incur additional fees for residential delivery due to the size of the tool boxes. Additional fees may apply if a lift gate is required.
